The 0E186 SD Card may not be out yet, it will likely show up in the 2019 Toyota vehicles. The dealer does charge for the update, usually around $170 if you install it, more if the dealer installs it for you. Not worth it at that price.

$170 for a update reminds me of doing my Honda disc a waste of $$ still missing 12 year old paved roads I travel in Kentucky! Thanks

Yea that update ain’t worth it, hell, the Navi isn’t because my smart phone could these days, that Navi probably up the price $2000 with these days inflation... unless you don’t have a smart or a decent coverage of network for your cell phone then yes the Navi is a okay.

    Hey Andy,
Any chance you still have that SD card? I just bought a 2016 and the card was missing. (Didn't find out until after I signed the papers, now the dealership won't talk to me..)

Appreciate the offer, it's not a bad price, but I found a -184 on eBay for under $5. I think I'll give that a go for now.
    Cheers!

Hi Andy, I would be interested in it. I just bought a 16 and it’s missing. Is this just a plug and play item to get the Navi to work? Or is a subscription required?

From what I know, we all don’t pay sub for the nav, unless you use satellite radio(sirus). As far as the plug and play part, I’m not totally sure too, your stereo looks diff from my ‘18. But that could be because its turned off, never looked at mine while turned off, can you take a picture of your stereo face while power is on. So i could confirm.

ECDC28C2-5D40-4CAB-AFEE-613807F9FB5B.jpg Nvm it look the same, probably just the angle and the power being off. But you should still do some research first before buying if need some kind of update firmware or just plug and play since these are already the updated SD card. Ill make sure to do a video before you buy to make sure its working.

Dumb question, but how do you remove the sd card reader cover without breaking it?
