Just shove a piece of spare rubber hose through the center of the banjo, that'll block it well enough

The $35 powerstop lines I got from Rock Auto should work just fine for them as well

You can do what @Blackdawg did put a GMC 144 alternator. That'll definitely pump some juice

According to Zane, the right way to sound deaden the floor is to remove the factory tar paper.

Not a fun project in the least. The perfect tool for the job seemed to be my "her first tool kit plastic chisel." Aka .

I heard you could remove it with a hammer - the only way I can see that happening is if you're outside at night during a record setting cold snap in some God forsaken frigid climate.

As far as it possibly trapping moisture, the material is too stiff to conform to some of the stamped valleys in the floor and kind of kept stuff like sand in my case stuck under there. If you got enough water from other sources like super rainy days getting in and out a bunch or a leak in the firewall, I could see the tar mat keeping it from evaporating quickly from preventing air from circulating over the water.

Thanks @Speedytech7 - that was a fun date night with my truck ;)

    I sense some resentment haha.

When I put my junk back together I hit a bunch of it off just by banging it with a mallet

I was so pleased with myself when I thought I was finished after the "Great Stuff" debacle.

Anyway, it's good advice. The worst parts were in the tight little changes in the bottom. Vertical parts came right off w/o any force.

Ok guys I need some help ASAP, I’m on my mail route (in my truck) and I have intermittent throttle loss, when I have throttle it runs like normal but sometimes drops the throttle.
No codes or pending codes, the only thing I found was the TPS value on the scanaguage would stay at 19 (idle) when requesting throttle but no power, when it was operating normall the TPS value would act normal.

That’s high for TPS did you look under the hood to see if the butterfly wasn’t getting stuck?
