That is the worse hard hat idea ever. Ear plugs are so much better then those hot ear muffs.

But yes my wife and I discussed helmets for the truck.

 

If you wanna wheel, check out Lead King Basin Loop and Schofield Pass. Looks like your ride can handle it. You can go through Marble and get some BBQ (only one restaurant in town, you will find it). And if you don't know about Marble, it's a really weird little town that's fun to check out. Plus you can splash your ride around in the Crystal River flats. And then take Lead King which spits you out in Crested Butte. I used to work for USFS at Aspen-Sopris Ranger District. Best drive you can do up there. Also best camping you can do up there. Anywhere along Lead King is beautiful and remote. Just be prepared to wheel at Schofield Pass.

 

At least you still have the front window in. When are you removing that like the rest of the stuff?

 

Don’t need too. Others had to so they can weld the tubes there. But I planned ahead so I won’t have too.

The sway bar delete was a given for me.

 

Once I tie up the rest of the loose ends I want to flex it out and max sure everything is looking good

Thanks for the info! I'll check out these places an see if we can alter the route and make it happen. Nailed down the route and stops last night for the whole loop.

 

Schofield pass isnt open yet, rock slide on the Devil's Punchbowl.

 

So my semi trailer wound be perfect. I can raise it to any height needed. Let me know when and we can make it work

Is the guided tour worth it at mesa verde national park?

 

Only the sunset tour of the Treehouse.

 

I liked it but I was also like 10 at the time so ymmv lol

 

I've gone there with a few school groups and also bicycle groups. I live nearby though

My brother is looking at buying a 5th gen 4runner. Are there any frame rust issues he should be looking for? Truck has 30,000 and it's in Buffalo.

Or any other issues?
