Looking into buy these Goodyear wranglers off a fella on Craigslist. Is the cracking/wear on the bead a concern? Any info would be appreciated 1E3B3CBC-1FFE-4C58-A55D-3538D6BEDD1A.jpg

According to the date code that tire is from November 2013. There's likely more dry rot that you wouldn't see until after mounting and inflating.

The guy is asking $100 for a set of 4 with roughly 6/32 of 12/32 tread remaining. Based on this picture would you guys buy?

Yep, I wouldn’t buy based on the fact they’re already 5 years old and sitting for who knows how long.

Tires are literally the thing keeping you on the road, so don’t skimp. Plenty of budget, quality options out there.

Appreciate the insight. I'm going to pass on them. Just wasn't sure if it was a true deal or if they were just junk

Don't know what size you were looking at but i'd rather purchase newer and have piece of mind that you are the one that put the tires to use.
I ended up using one of these to replace my spare in a larger size. For $91 it might be worth a look (haven't actually driven on them). Comes with a 45K warranty and I think the are exclusive to Discount Tire. It looks aggressive in person as well (if that is a concern)
