    Yeah, it rests on the stand, and has wheels so I can move it around the porch. Receiver hitch when I want to be mobile.

    Would love a trailer rig, but 90% of the time, it would be overkill, and nowhere to put it. Had this thing made up to solve the problem.

    This one was made by Chad Johnson out of Waxahachie. My old man has had 3 trailer rigs made by him, and they are damn amazing. All reverse flow. This is his T-pit, and it is also reverse flow with a huge heat deflector in the bottom of the chamber. What is so great about the T design, it is the most efficient pit I have ever used. Barely takes any fuel, and holds its temp forever. Closest thing I have used to it is an egg.

    I have heard good things about Chad Johnson through my cooking buddies, never seen his work up close. But yours looks good. Got a reverse flow up at the shop on skids my son built years ago, and you are right don’t take much wood to feed it.
