    I can’t help with your question but if you do end up doing this please update the forum I’d love to see what they look like with white leds.

    Welp, I thought I found a cheaper version of this EAG grill..... the sample/demo pic looked the same (white truck) but it is not:

    This is an insert, not the grille w surround. That's why it's cheaper and if you research, it sticks out alot farther than the og grille

    You are correct, I was looking at the white truck and thought that's what it was... the white truck has the EAG grill

    Has anyone pulled the amber lights and tinted them? I love the look of the grill but not the ambers so much, I'm considering getting it and hitting the lights with nightshades or some tint.

    I don't hate this actually. Might be a good option for those that didnt want to paint the entire piece, they could leave the insert black.

    Too much yet too little
    there is actually two different versions. there is a grille insert which runs around $130 on eBay and there is also a full replacement which will replace the color around the insert to black which runs you around $180. I will post a pic of the one that I have which replaced the entire assembly.

    That is always an option... only reason I painted it was because it was a flat black. The type that shows fingerprints and everything else. Maybe a clear or something to go over the back area would work

    I’ve been looking at this grille, just wish they made the LEDs in white as I don’t have any more orange lighting on my truck. I wonder if it would be easy to swap out for white less?

    Is there something you don’t like about it? How was the install? I’m wanting to keep grille Magnetic Gray Metallic, without painting a new one. So I’m thinking about getting the insert you bought and installing it on my painted stock grill. Thoughts?

    Absolutely love this grill Anyone know if this will come with the TSS spot for the 18s?! I need this but don’t want to mess up my cruise control that’s 90% of my driving lol!
