Any mods done or uses for the Garage door opener panel done at all? I don't have a garage door opener and wonder if there are other creative uses anyone has had for it?

The only thing I can think is try and get you hands on one form a Taco with the Off-road package. They have the outside temp pod that goes in place of the garage door flap. Thats what I have been looking for.

You know, I tried looking one of these up for you guys. I can't find a Toyota Parts store online that has one with a price on it. They all say $0.00. :(

I guess that means they don't have it. :(

Thanks for trying Mark. By the way, I think I have basically the same truck as you...except for the color.

It's my understanding in order to have the compass/temp gage you have to buy the entire console. I've heard other's say the price Toyota has quoted is in the vicinity of $900.00(ouch!!). Additionally, you need to purchase the temp sensor separately(located in the front bumper area). The wires, I believe, to do the install are already hardwired. However, there are aftermarket version(s) on e-bay considerably cheaper. Check out the following link: I would PM the OP(HILLCLIMBER) and see if he can sell you one or direct you to someone who can.

Hmm... Seems like it shouldn't be THAT expensive. Oh well, guess I will just have to be content with my GPS compass.

A Roo Bar comes to mind. I also protected the tail lamps. It is a farm and you back over stuff; Willows mostly. All of the factory options are on it. The dealership owner bought it for himself. He put a topper on it and pricey tyres. The Power Wagon does the heavy lifting.
Why don`t you just put your pot in it?

As I recall BC the sidearms were the only thing they wondered about.
They bought a US badge then. It is not as though we have jurisdiction.
    OK, that`s cool.
