Purchased a 2018 Tacoma DCSB TRD OR 4x4 Cement on Memorial Day. Pretty standard build. Included the technology package, paint protection film, door sill protector and wheel locks.

    MRSP was $38,563
    Paid: $36,400 + Tax/License

Toyota dealerships in California don't seem like they want to deal much. It was hard to get them to budge more than the $1,500 cashback option. This was one of two Cement TRD OR double cabs within a 250 mile radius and they new it wasn't a common color. They knew it wouldn't stay on their lot long. Out of the 70 Tacomas on their lot, this was the only one in Cement.

I also paid cash and I think they are less willing to deal with cash buyers because they don't make any interest off of you.

I just purchased a 2018 Tacoma DCLB SR5 on Saturday in Oregon.
    MSRP was $36,063
    I paid $31,834 + Tax/License
I went back and forth with a few different dealerships to get the price there.

I don't think the salesman told me about any incentives. Wish I would have known! What was listed in my estimate was "dealer discount" which I assume maybe the incentive is included?

Lead time is 8-10 weeks here too. The rebate I'm mentioning is the standard Toyota military rebate. I'll also get any other rebates active at time of delivery, but not sure what those will be yet.

Oh, the military discount... I was thinking about the $1000 cash incentive that began this month (at least in my region).

I've seen it listed in the price breakdown towards the end. It's a $1,000 Customer Cash Incentive that started on 6/5... at least in Oregon / Washington. Might not be nationwide.

Yeah, I was told about that, but I'm not counting on that, since it ends 7/9 like you said. I'm hoping by the time I take delivery there may be some incentive on 2018's given the model year roll over, but I am not holding my breath.

Finally got back into a Tacoma, my previous was a 05 TRD Sport 2WD.

2018 TRD OR DCSB 4x4 Cement Auto V6
$33054 + tax (which hopefully gets waived in SC for non-res military)
    No options

I went with Dave Edwards Toyota in Spartanburg, SC after seeing this post, thanks mpepper for the tip!

I highly recommend them, I actually never set foot in their dealership, had it shipped for $125 to Columbia. Super easy to work with, accomodating and low stress.

How did you do this well? Think they would ship down to Florida? I can’t get below $35,400 on any TRD OR DCSB 4x4. It’s a struggle to get 3k off MSRP here in Orlando Florida.

Not sure what the OP has in regards to trim but without the premium package, it should be around 34k.

I've been working with Dave Edwards Toyota since March and locked in my price then. Took them a long time to find what I wanted and I had to go with my second color choice. I thought I was going to have to withdraw my deposit, but they found what I wanted in Cement (originally wanted white) and the price I locked in was too good to pass up. Overall I had a pretty good experience with them.

I picked up my Tacoma from them on Saturday. I purchased a 2018 TRD OR DCSB Cement 6MT with premium and technology packages, plus all weather floor mats. Had a few issues with the truck upon my inspection, they resolved those and threw in free window tint on the front windows. Overall I'm very happy with the truck!

    Purchase price: $33,500 + tax/fees
Out the door price (GA taxes): $36,299

I think I did pretty well, got a little over $5100 off MSRP. I did a lot of research and contacted many dealers through email in surrounding states, narrowing dealers down as I went.

Also, I did work a deal for a new Tacoma for my dad at the same time. I was clear with every dealer that we wanted to purchase both trucks from the same dealership to get as good of a price on each as possible. So, I'm not sure if they further discounted either of our trucks since I was bringing them two sales, but something to keep in mind.

The car was 32,600 before fees. I pretty much just emailed them and asked for no bs invoice plus any incentives (I got $1000 for military). The poster above got a pretty sweet deal. Don’t know how much shipping would be for you, but to have it delivered all the way to where I live, ~250 miles, it would have been $340, so I met them half way. I had a great experience at this dealership.

    Nice.

I’m at $33,976 for this TRD OR double cab:

    https://www.toyotaofmelbourne.com/new-Melbourne-2018-Toyota-Tacoma-TRD+Off+Road-3TMCZ5AN1JM146464

If they give me what I want for my trade (2016 Jeep Wrangler Willy’s edition) I might take the plunge. I’ll give my local dealer a chance to beat the deal but they aren’t playing ball. This other dealer is already $4,500 off msrp. With a window tint and lifetime powertrain warranty (yea, I know these don’t mean much).

Edit: The dealer said if I come in by tomorrow evening they’ll knock off an additional 500$ from the invoice.

So $33,476 before tax, tags and title. That’s exactly 5k off MSRP for this specific truck. I think that’s a solid deal but might try for some all weather mats or something too.

That's within a few dollars of the deal I got on the nearly identical truck at Coggin Toyota in Jacksonville. Delete the usb cords and add window tint on mine. I thought it was a good deal since we are under the oppressive thumb of SET Toyota mafia pricing.

See if you can get a discount because it was a DEMO for a manager. It has 500 miles on it.

go to David Maus Toyota in Sanford, they knocked about 3.5K off MSRP on my TRD OR 4x4 and they include a 100k mile warranty as standard on all new trucks. I did pay more than you since my truck has every option but they should make a deal on a lower priced model also.

Just left there tonight. Deal is done I pickup tomorrow.

TRD OR 4x4 MSRP $37,437 paid $33,437. So got $4k off sticker.

It wasn’t the smoothest deal lot of back and forth but at the end of the day they beat the 3 other dealerships I priced with which they said they would so I’ll give them credit for that. I think I did solid. They also beat my other 3 trade offers by $500 and I got them to throw in all weather mats.

Thanks for the help on here everyone. I knew what type of deal I wanted because of this thread.

nice to see they made you a deal there also, it was a lot of back and forth standard dealership tricks with me there are first also but after i made it clear i was going to another dealership if they couldn't get me at the price i wanted they budged. i just really wanted that extended warranty.
