Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.

While I don't care if people smoke weed and I don't think it should be illegal it is pretty annoying driving/walking around DTLA and then all the sudden getting a big wiff of it.

Few of us are planning on doing Miller Jeep Trail next weekend (Saturday most likely) if you want to come with. North end of LA county where the grapevine is, near Frazier Park/Mt. Pinos. Probably a good 2.5 hr drive from where you are now but it's a worthwhile 4x trail, got some wide open go-fast trails too on the way out in Gorman. Keep an eye on this thread next week we'll probably start planning it then.

Edit: I'm hoping to make a camping trip out of it for Sat night, there's a cool spot to set up camp halfway thru the trail near a stream/tree shaded area right before the last couple miles of the hard 4x4 stuff. If anyone else is down to make it a 2 day trip anyway

I thought SoCal was migrating to CO, OR, WA, ID, etc...or did I have it backwards

Or maybe it's coming full circle and they're sending them back here.

    I'm allergic to strawberries

Pretty much everywhere. I was up in Bend, OR last week and it's 90% Californians...they're coming up in droves.

Yeah anybody worth any money is bailing out to places that actually want them to live there. The immigrants can have this place.

speaking of FJ owners, have I ever mentioned that back in late 2007 maybe even early 2008 AllPro hosted a special trail run up a trail called Claw Hammer at the The Hammers. The goal of the run was to be the first group of IFS rigs to complete the iconic trail. There were some trail carnage incurred to a few of the FJ's. Those owners filed suit against AP for damages and also claiming that AP did not make it clear enough that possible damage can/will happen on the trail.

The promotion was a blessing and a curse. Imagine literally getting a huge raise that is fully consumed in taxes and you make exactly the same amount of money.

    No joke. The same amount.

So basically you getting a raise just meant that the state got one instead :bananadead:

    Yeah that sucks dude..

I have a feeling im never getting out of this place unless we move to Japan.

Only plus side right now is we have like 200k in equity on our condo.

Every estimate lists the place @ 395k+ and thats w/o the renovations. We owe less than 140k on it.

Is there any place to wheel in Japan....can you for that matter? Lol

Yeah we want to get out of here in 2 years tops, hopefully before we have our first kid but might be shortly after. Just can't see owning a home here and living comfortably with the way things are.
