What are the specs on the tent? As far as weight and mounting.

Per the spec sheet it’s 102 lbs. Mounts just like any other RTT does.

 

I’ve got an are v series. My concern is that my shell would not support the weight long term.

 

I don’t think you’d have any issues, especially with this being a lighter weight tent, I’ve seen people running far bigger on top of shells. You can also take it off when you aren’t planning on using it, would take about 2 minutes.

 

I’ve been looking for weight ratings for my shell. From what I’ve read on TW it’s only about 150lbs, which is my concern with the tent and 2 people.

 

Typically the weight ratings given are dynamic (while in motion). Static weight ratings (when stopped) are much much higher. Sometimes it’s hard to find the static rating but from what I’ve seen most stuff tends to be 150-200 dynamic and 500-700 static.

Would you be able to measure the topper windows?

 

Not sure which measurements you are looking for but here you go. I’ve got the smaller rear panel on top of the front panel lined up as best I could.

 

I’m gonna measure mine tomorrow. Both front and rear started to yellow and I was looking for a replacement but apparently softopper doesn’t make a replacement for the second gen version?

I would assume the front and rear panels can interchange but I will see.
