I had never even heard of it until a guy from wrangler forum mentioned it, and he's from Indiana.

 

If it’s what I think it is there’s one trail I’m not sure a tacoma has a short enough wheel base to get into. I’ve seen one back there I’ve always wanted to try but I don’t feel confident doing it alone, it’s pretty damn dicey

 

In other news boy genius over here forgot sunscreen before hitting the lake today and can now hardly move. Smart move Chris

 

All I know about it is that it's 8 1/2 miles long. I've got a wrecked TJ(still drivable, but arguing with the guy's ins. I hope to have it in the shop in the next two weeks) sitting under my carport

I use to ride a mountain bike out there back in the early 00's, haven't been out there since.

 

That was the trail I was wondering about in tuskegee. I couldn't find anything online saying they would allow my tacoma through it though.

Little man convinced his sister to go Kayaking this morning on her birthday. I couldn’t even get out of the truck! Little man was almost half way across the lake.

Do they stock that lake or just let it do it's own thing? Fishing decent in it?

I really wish Alabama would get with the program on their fishing licenses. This everyone expires at the same time of the year is kinda stupid.

 

I’m not sure what the deal is. I haven’t really ever caught anything there. I mostly just kayak around.

 

From my understanding you're only allowed on marked roads in the NF...

 

Anyone recognize this jack stand? Claim it, if no one claims someone ask for it or it will be in my trash next weekend.

 

If nobody claims it I'll take it off your hands. I've only got 2 so can use another.

 

@savethewheels was gracious enough to buy me a set of 6 ton stands for assisting with his lift. I wish I would have bought a set a long tome ago. Felt 100% safe under the truck and the extra night was awesome.
