There are so many trails up there it's amazing. I wanna learn more about the area off 80 just cause it's closer but you could easily spend a week up there and not sleep in the same place twice, just roam around

Oh and for the brass comments earlier in the week, we picked up all our brass and trash but what I seriously hate more than left over brass and some trash is when people shoot glass on the frozen lake so it's in the water where you enter and exit the water and shooting glass near the camp where dogs, children, wildlife and drunk adults can get messed up quick. That grinds my gears.

We went to do the Spanish Loop Trail in the King Range National Wilderness this weekend. 7 miles down to beach, camp, 8-9 miles back out.

Two miles in the dog said fuck it and refused to move. She had so much sap and stickies stuffed up in her paws she couldn’t walk. We decided to turn around and I had to carry her 21lb ass back to the trailhead. Time to buy some dog booties.

Spanish loop is a nice hike, awesome views, lots of wildlife since very few people go this deep into KRNW and those that do stay along the coast line (lost Coast Trail) Ran into a massive black bear. Tried to hit up a few campgrounds on the way out but they were all full.
It wasn’t a total loss, found a chill spot on the eel river to relax for a bit:cheers:

Went from 3rd Gen Taco to 3GT4R to 2nd Gen Taco and finally a V8 4GT4R.
Took me a good hour with a hose and rags to get rid of majority of the dust...and I had a window on my topper. Can’t imagine your open shell

Successful weekend at sawmill, we had a great turnout thanks to @rob1208. He relayed our coordinates to the second group once he got back to civilization. I don’t think they would have found us otherwise. They didn’t roll into camp til about 2am.
