Lol he can get them from work

 

Just got back from the new truck’s maiden voyage towing the camper. Absolutely effortless towing, thing’s a beast of a truck (and my camper is relatively small and not even starting to test it’s limits). Ended up averaging around 9 mpg round trip.

 

A neighbor down the road has two Lil' Red Express trucks. I'll be honest, I had no idea there's anything special about those trucks. I will have to do some research now.

Morning everyone. Back to the routine after a wild and crazy trip to Ocean City with the boys. I need a vacation from that vacation.

Good thing is, next week I'll be in the Outer Banks with the bro in law, so I have that to look forward to.

They are pretty special, since they were only made for 2 years. Have you seen the front of them, and if you did, did you see if they had a single circular headlight, or dual rectangle headlights?

God bless you. I would never in a million years do one with my wife. We both do races, she does them with her friends, I do them with mine. Rarely do we even do the same start times. It's just easier that way.

Same at the gym. We don't ever partner up if there's a partner workout. We are in the same class out of convenience. She hangs with her little gossip squad and I hang with my gym friends.

 

Talk about a shitty start to the week... so not only do I have to be back at work after partying all weekend, but my battery died.

Truck didn't move for 4 days. This morning, got in and started right up to go drop off the oldest at daycare. Got to daycare, went inside, came back out and it was DEAD. NOTHING worked. Callled my FIL to meet me with jumper cables. Wouldn't work because his car battery is small. A guy was next to me with a big Silverado, so I asked him if we could use his. Looks at my battery and says it's way bigger than his, might not work either, but we gacve it a shot. Still wouldn't work. Luckily there was an Auto Zone right up the road. Called, asked if they had tools I could borrow if I bought the battery. Said yes, ran up, bought it, swapped it, and back in business.

FML. What a start to the day/week.

 

It was tough at times, she doesn't run nearly as much as I do so there was more walking than I would have liked. I'm glad she did ti with me and I'd do another with her if she wanted, but not sure if she wants to do another.
I don't have a group of friends to do these with so it was good having someone there, but in August as of right now it will be back to going solo at tough mudder hudson valley and will be able to put up a much better time.

 

That doesn't sound like a battery issue...

Was there corrosion on the inside of the terminals when you pulled them off of the old battery? The only times I've ever seen a battery go from 'fine' to 'nothing' like that is when it was subjected to a physical shock and something inside of it broke.

 

This. 4 yr old battery shouldn't do that.
