    Hi, help please!
So yesterday I traveled an hour to buy a short cap for my 07 Tacoma dbl cab. I hadn't removed the tonneau so the seller tried to help. The vertical bolts for the cap would be blocked by the tonneau rail, which was tucked in between the standard bed rail and the bed wall. All 8 rail bolts were rusted and the heads stripped so seller suggested cutting them and using channel locks to remove the bolts-2/8 came out but the others froze or spun the nuts on the inside where we couldn't reach from the bottom or by removing the cover plastic over the bed wall. Now, the T cover is off, the bolts are protruding and blocking the insertion of new bolts for the cap and the seller finally said "take it to a mechanic" after we completely screwed my truck for 4 hours. Obviously, I don't have a lot of experience with frozen bolts because another friend said I never should have let them cut the heads off. OK, but now what do I do? Is there anyplace anyone can recommend to take it on the east coast for help? Ugh, I broke my baby.- jj

Have you tried removing the bed rails from the bed sides?
