I had zero issues getting mine to 65lbs. The metal tabs it fits in shouldn't squeeze together with only 45 as they didn't with 65lbs.

Yeah I over-torqued the same bolt. Truck rides fine but I don’t want to wheel it until I replace it to be sure. Do you have a part number by any chance?

    Edit:
Went to my local off-road shop and got a replacement bushing and sleeve.

Dude, getting the bottom eyelet of the rear shocks in was a serious PITA. My mounting bracket was super tight to begin with. Pretty sure we damaged that bushing just trying to get the damn thing in. Let alone any other damage we may have done tightening it with an impact gun.

Yeah I had to bend my shock mount open. I get to go through this pain again when I replace the bushing I fucked up the first time. The guy at the shop where I bought my replacement bushing from said to grease the shit out of everything first. Which bushings did you use for the upper shock mount? I have the thicker one above the shock mount and a thin one below, I’m thinking of throwing in my extra thick bushing for more clearance for my resivoir line.

When I installed I greased the fuck out of everything too. I did the leaf springs after the rear shocks had been on for about a week. They were much easier after having been compressed for that time.

My bushings for the top of the rear shocks were the same size top and bottom. I have the billet clamps with mine, and have zero hose clearance issues. I also went with the 2.0s in the rear, and only did 2.5s on the front.

Coming back and retorquing everything, here's what I found.

    Front
    Sway Spacer 37 ft/lbs
    - Toyota Service Manual
Sway Bracket 24 ft/lbs - Fox Direct Replacement Service Guide
Sway Link Assembly 52 ft/lbs - Toyota Service Manual
Front Lower Shock Mount 61 ft/lbs - Toyota Service Manual
Front Upper Shock Mount 24 ft/lbs - Fox Direct Replacement Service Guide
UCA Bolt 85 ft/lbs - Toyota Service Manual
UCA Ball Joint (Before Alignment) 45ft/lbs - SPC LR Manual
UCA Ball Joint (After Alignment) 150 ft/lbs - SPC LR Manual
Skid Control Sensor Wire 9 ft/lbs - Toyota Service Manual

    Rear
Top Rear Shock Mount Hand Tighten
    - Fox Direct Replacement Service Guide
Lower Rear Shock Mount 43 ft/lbs ?? - Toyota Service Manual / Fox Direct Replacement Service Guide
Leaf Spring U Bolts 75-80 ft/lbs - HS 3 Leaf AAL Install Instructions
Parking brake cable assembly 9 ft/lbs - Toyota Service Manual

Everyone is saying not to torque the lower rear shock mount because the rubber bushing will get destroyed. I'm pretty sure I already destroyed it during my original install because it was a giant pain in the ass to get in. What's weird is Fox specifically tells you to torque that according to OEM in the service guide.

So if I email fox they'll send me a couple more of those rubber bushings? How are you guys getting that lower shock mount in without screwing those up?

I torqued mine to 74 ft/lbs. It definitely squeezed up those rubber bushings. I check them periodically and so far no issues to the shock. The bushings don’t move around as much as say UCA bushings so I don’t see a major issue. Just curious, did you have to bend your lower shock mounts open to fit your rears?

I didn't bend them but now I'm wondering if I should have. I went WD-40 and brute force to get the lower shock mounts installed, pretty sure the rubber bushing got messed up in the process.

Also, the sway bar relocation to original bracket location doesn't have any torque specs in the Fox guide. I'm assuming since it uses OEM hardware it should be torqued to Toyota's spec.

I forced it in at first and that shredded up my rubber bushings. I ended up switching my bushings out for new ones about a week later. I was skeptical to bend my mount open, but a family friend of mine with 20+ years of mechanic experience said it was fine because its hardened steel.

The swaybar relocation bracket and bolts mimic the oem mounts, so OEM specs seem right to me.

At some point I'll actually have time to go back and properly check torque on everything. In the mean time... WWHHEEEEEEEE!

So I just tried torqing the front upper shock bolts to 24ft / lbs and the bolt sheered right off... Now I get to figure this out.

I just snugged mine as good as I could with a 3/8 ratchet, 24lbs is not much torque.

It looks like you can twist them out of the top hat to replace them.

Update, Fox said not to worry about the rear bushing? I haven't tried removing the broken bolt yet, looks like there is quite a bit of thread showing at the top so I might have lucked out there. I'm gonna pull the coilover off and do the song and dance again when I get some time. Not gonna run to my torque wrench so quickly for these smaller bolts in the future...

After further inspection it turns out I’m an idiot (no surprise) and a Grade 2 bolt ended up in the mount instead of a Grade 8. Explains why it sheered off and the others torqued correctly.

I was recently asking the shop I deal with aobut adjusting the fronts a bit more since I know he has the wrench for them etc.

He said if the shock isn't under a lot of preload they can adjust it with it on the truck.
He's already adjusted mine before but now with second battery its sagging in the front again and wanted to lift it about another half inch (1/4" of thread adjustment) to get it back to where it was. Just asked him how much it would be and he just said if we don't need to pull the shock about an hours labour rate, problem is if its under too much preload he might not be able to. Recently they had a jeep in with same fox 2.5 I have and when trying to adjust it with it on the spring started digging into the adjustment collar because of all the preload and the shock had to be removed so they could compress the spring while adjusting.

He's had other coilovers where they start to cross thread because they are under so much pressure.

Got the broken bolt off easy once the coil over came off. Picking up the proper hardware tomorrow.

While all the shit was off I continued my retorque and noticed the UCA bolt needed a few more cranks than I expected.

Did you guys throw red threadlocker on the UCA bolt?
