Agree, the Clone Wars is really good after season 1. They do a good job connecting Episode II and III. Star Wars Rebels is good too.

I thought Solo was a good movie. Just think it paid the price for the Last Jedi.

Absolutely, I don't understand why a fan of Star Wars would would boycott a premier. IMO Rogue One and Solo have been far superior to FA or TLJ!

I agree with Rogue and Solo being the best of the new stuff. Just think they have lost sight of the story with the new films. They could have used some of what Lucas gave them for the new films and change it if it made sense.

Oh, me neither! I hated that kid they chose everything I've seen him in he's just rotten. But, it's Star Wars I can't skip that at the theater and I'm so glad I didn't; it's great in so many ways and I enjoyed it immensely.

Worth seeing it in a theater. It's to bad the Last Jedi ruined it for this movie. They should have released Solo in December and it probably would have done better IMO.

Yeah, read something about this the other day. No way Disney will give up the rights for them to this. That said, would have been interesting to see what they would do.

If they are going to have any sort of continuity they need to pick a director and stick with them.

Lord and Miller were bad choices from the beginning, and it wasn't until they started seeing the dailies on Solo that the realized the mistake they'd made.

Continuity of direction isn't as major as continuity of storytelling. We all know George Lucas directed A New Hope, but Irvin Kershner was the director of Empire and Richard Marquand led Return of the Jedi. Those stories tied together because throughout was Lucas' story and vision.

Post the Disney acquisition, there doesn't seem to be a solid and protected continuous vision and story.

Yeah I've noticed there isn't really a set story. They kinda take what the last movie did and go in a different direction.......

Yeah, that's why Colin Trevorrow got fired from directing Ep.IX he needed Luke to be alive and Johnson was busy killing him off!

I agree!! For Disney it's more about making money and not some much the story IMO. Lucas left them with his ideas for VII, VIII and IX and they went in a different direction with VII. Roque One was good because it was part of the overall story and connected III and IV in a really good way.
