Congrats on your expanding fur family! Rescues are the best puppers. Kiki, on the left, is the sweetest little thing - all sugar and sunshine.

    IMG_2163.jpg

Lucy (on the right) has cost us more than a used car - $1000 for deworming and over $4K for back surgery. Good thing she's nice and sweet - wait, her nickname "Murder Dog" was earned through blood. 15 pounds of furry death. She's lightened up quite a bit since the surgery, so maybe she's simply "Just-hurt-you-real-bad Dog" now.

Ok, so rescues are a crapshoot. We're 50/50.

Same here! I have come to terms with this and I plan on getting one eventually this year...probably be a viper or python 2-way alarm with remote start.

Coolest part about the vipers and alarm/remote start combos is they have this thing called pit stop mode where you can leave your vehicle running...take your keys and lock the truck...then come back with it still cool as can be

It's called a clutch bypass switch and it's not too hard to do but is a PITA every time you want to remote start the car...basically you have to leave the vehicle in neutral and run a switch to your E-brake. Then press a button each time you do this sequence that lets the system know you plan on remote starting the vehicle next time and as long as you did the sequence properly and set the E-brake it will start right up. I have heard horror stories from Circuit City employees that one of their installers tried doing this on his own vehicle and bypassed the parking brake...long story short he started it while in gear and drove it through the wall into the store :headbang:

Anybody looking for a little pet fence/pen? 30” tall, pretty much brand new. Got it and ended up not using it. $20322934FE-0561-4A12-A445-ACDDBA48874B.jpg
