Looks great! What did you use to blackout the grill and emblems? Platidip or spray paint?

Yes, plasti dipped the emblems, grill bezel, and chrome bumpers for now until I buy permanent replacements.

Yes. 2 in front, 1 in back. Just a spacer and we will eventually get new shocks.

Are you happy with how the plasti dip turned out? Thinking about doing that to mine since the dealership wants to charge almost $400 for the blackout badging kit!

Revtek. We’re eventually going to replace it with Fox all the way around. Shocks and coil overs. Suspension is VERY stiff right now.

Yes, I think it looks great plus you can alway remove it if you ever wanted to go back to chrome. I think Amazon has a blackout kit for around 100. However, a can of plasti dip is around 6 dollars at my local Walmart so cant really beat that.

Barely squeezes in past the fender flare at full lock in normal driving, will rub slightly if articulating while turned, but only needs to trim the fender flare about 1/4 inch and heatgun some plastic to make it work.

Did you use the actual plasti dip brand? Or a different brand? My husband bought a more expensive brand thinking it would be higher quality and it sucked! He couldn’t get it off of the paint without accidentally tearing the rest off.

Yes, I used ‘Plasti Dip’ brand. I have seen other brands but I have only used Plasti Dip in the past. As long as you use enough coats it should remove fairly easy. Also, I know Goo Gone will help remove more stubborn places.

Watch Dipyourcar videos on YouTube, he has a whole channel about it and best practices when applying and removal.

Let me know when it shows up, we'll have to set a couple cement trucks side by side.
