    :luvya: That was good.

I’m painting some plugs that’ll fill the holes that are in my fender. I’ve been slowly working on this project over the past few weeks.

I'm selling them cheap. $175. Bushings and BJs are in decent shape but it would make since to just buy new ones from SPC and reuse the arms. You would basically have brand new UCAs for $300. I'm guessing they have around 40k on them.

Dang your in Canada...got you confused with the eastern shore guy.

Well shit. They turned yellow again and I’m not sure why. I flipped them all over and this time I’m just trying straight primer, no adhesion promoter or paint.

Neoprene rubber. My first test they turned yellow, and then I did another test without clear coat and they came out perfect. Then this time yellow again

You don't think the paint is eating the rubber and mixing with the corrosion?

Maybe, but I don’t see how paint eats rubber? I’m just curious how I managed to make a perfect test run a second time

You probably need a catalyzed primer to act as a barrier - like a 2 part epoxy primer spray paint can

Sounds like too much work. I’ll just run black washers, or slightly yellowed ones depending how yellow they get

Well neoprene is porous so it might be the amount you're using, maybe white plasti dip is worth a shot?

That may be worth a shot. I just flipped over all the washers and did straight primer, and it seems to have worked. Comparing the two side by side it’s not nearly as yellow, but we’ll see if it gets worse with time.

Edit: or maybe I need to let each Coat fully dry, which is why this time it didn’t work but it did last time.

Might try painting them with a sealer or another color of paint. Then hit them with a few coats of white.
