What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Picked up some new snow shoes for it!
Gonna run dedicated snows instead of the AT’s.
I’m gonna mount them on stock steel’s. Price is better for snows this time of year.

 

Put some new marks on my driveway using my Tacoma... Rear brakes wont release.

Yep. Not the first time that its happened. Certainly the most severe though.

 

Why put trd sport decals on a SR5 taco?

 

Custom. Mounted on rails with aluminum t nuts. I welded the racks from scrap steel.

 

There when I bought her, took them off, didn't really like the SR5 decals, put them back on cuz I liked them..

 

New flag came in the mail. Here’s old and new side by side. Gunna just keep running them ragged and replacing them.

Also hit 49,000mi today on my way to take my Drone License exam. Passed! Should be a FAA registered pilot in a few days.

 

Lol thanks, I did both doors the same way, it was easy to do and I decided to do that vs shaving everything off clean

 

traveled around 450ish miles round trip "includes other running around during trip" and was averaging 17.5 mpg which is slightly better than the 14-15 I get around home...and I don't even have 285's smh...

Not bashing anyone but I come here to see what upgrades and mods people are doing, not pics of their camping trips 'n such or newly waxed rides. Those things should definitely be posted because they're great and I've seen some really nice pics. Just thinking out loud

I second this motion. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy this thread every day and never tire of some righteous taco porn. However there are times where I feel like half the days posts are folks coming up with an excuse to post in here, rather than having solid content about mods or upgrades and such.

Joined the bandwagon and got the newest "it thing" to have.



But earlier today, battery went dead at son's daycare, but luckily there was an autozone right up the road, so had to go buy a new one and slap it on. Truck was stopped for 4 days. Turned on when leaving the house. Got to daycare to drop off the oldest, came back outside, tried to start the truck and NOTHING. No idea how or why. Battery was the original from when I purchased the truck brand new in 10/2013. Oh well.

Had a fun little project this week

 

I didn't do anything today but last week I burnt in my shock hoops on my... uh, not 2nd gen. Am i doing this right?
