I have a 95.5 tacoma 5 lug and was wondering if fenders off a 4x4 tacoma of the same year would fit?

I thought the fenders had a different shaped wheel well

They do, there is less flare, as such the corner lights are different as well so they fit right

Oph I’m sorry I didn’t see the 95.5 thing, I think they all became identical in the 1998 revision throughout 2004.

The grille design is different on 1995.5-1997 5-lugs than it is on a PreRunner and 4x4’s.

5 lugs all the way to 2004 are skinnier, they have different fender shapes. Not a huge difference but enough to make things looks a bit weird.

So that means all the body panels would be different?

No just the fender panels front and rear, they have less flare outward. Go measure your five lug and your 6 lug. Visually you'll see the 6 lug fenders flare outward quite a bit more

Hard to see since I have the 01-04 fender flares on. Didn't realize they were different.

I put on wider wheels and tires and wanted to put fender flares to cover the wheels but I havent found anyone that makes flares for the 95 2wd tacomas only 4x4. I heard the 4x4 fenders have a little more "bulge". Just curious if I'd be able to swap fenders without having to do any heavy modifications. If anyone has any advice or suggestions I really appreciate it.

I can tell you 4x4 fender flares fit a 5lug atleast in the rear. Idk about the front. I have my oem fiber glass ones
