I love this guy's videos about pimping out this old ass Hyundai/DSM Elantra (yes it was a DSM at the time) but this back and forth of his Elantra and his F250 arguing are pretty hilarious

    Ha. That was pretty funny...

That reminds me. I've been trying to source a wrecked 2nd gen's power inverter system with the bed outlet and retrofitting it into my cab.

Yeah I can just use an inverter, but that's no fun.

That's basically all that the later model Tacomas do though, even the middle grade HF inverter permanently wired in with some nice waterproof outlets in the bed or cut into the center console in the cab would be way better and cheaper. It is too big to fit in the stock location in our cabs and puts out hardly any wattage, you have to trick it to get it to come on in drive too

So you're saying an aftermarket independent inverter is better?

Next I’m cutting down the tree you can’t see, and rototilling all that dead grass and crap and redoing it all.

Gotta appease that darn tootin’ HOA of ours.

Yeah, all the TRD one from the 2nd gens is, is just a normal weak inverter that's hiding in the center console with wiring running to the bed. You could use a nice 600 or more watt inverter in a cubby in the back and wire it in and use a solenoid to turn it on and have a more robust system that can power more than a laptop charger.

I rototill my grandparents veggie garden every year and those things dig fast, best be really careful to avoid killing the rest of your sprinks. I would just rip it up with hand tools, looks small anyway

Oh trust me, the only way I'm getting this all out is with a high torque gasoline rototiller.

This used to be salt flats and marshland - I live on the San Francisco Bay, so it's about 90% clay. Remember that hole I dug to access that one sprinkler head? Took me a good hour to get to it. The dirt here is terrible.
