Hey guys! I’m Hammer’sTaco! My actual name is Ben. I’m on my second Tacoma. It’s a 2000 Prerunner, 3.4(5VZFE) automatic, ext. cab. I’ve been a TW member for months. Now that I’m getting around to doing some of the projects i’ve been planning i figure it’s time to get active on the forum.

1st of all I want to ask is there a forum manager that will work with Tacoma World? I tried Tappa Talk and it’s not compatible.

I just did my denso-delco alternator conversion and went w/ a cs-144. Been driving on it for a week, seems like a success. I almost wanna say i feel a seat-of-the-pants acceleration improvement(or am i imagining it?) I now want to determine it’s amperage load capacity at idle engine speed. What’s the best way i can go about answering that question?

Up next is timing set/water pump. I gathered all those parts months ago. I was thinkin ‘bout getting started on that tonight even tho it’s 11pm. I’m kinda crazy like that.

As far as testing goes you could just use a multimeter? Unless I misunderstood. At any rate, I’m sure the answer you seek is around here somewhere.
