It's better than nothing, but it still won't be the same. Maybe in the next movie, Stan Lee will play the superhero "One-above-all" and really show who has the ultimate power in the Marvel universe.

Thanos’ ancestors were created by the Celestials from sourced genetic material found on Earth. The source genes were likely homo erectus, a predecessor to modern hominids such as homo sapiens.

• The Celestials are a super-advanced species, as far beyond Humans as we are beyond the amoeba.
• Their capacity for genetic engineering is so great they can create new species out of old ones, with the same ease you make dinner after a trip to the market.
• The only reason they use existing species is in the hope the randomness of their genetic variance might alter their experiment in some as-yet unknown manner beneficial to the Celestial’s needs.
  Thanos is a descendant of a group of hominids born on Earth nearly one million years ago. We would call them homo erectus. While technically not quite as developed as later members of homo sapiens idaltu and their direct descendants, homo sapiens sapiens, they shared many of the capacities of homo sapiens and only became extinct approximately 70,000 years ago, possibly due to volcanic activity altering weather patterns.
  
  
  • However, this is only part of his genetic heritage. Once the Celestials came to Earth, they began tampering with the genome of the local species to create variations in our genetic structures to create subspecies of homo erectus.
  • The first variation was called homo descendus, commonly called Deviants. The Deviant genome was designed for maximum genetic variability. Their physical bodies varied widely in appearance and capabilities. So much so, few Deviants ever look similar or share the same superhuman capabilities.
  • The second variation was called homo immortalis, commonly called the Eternals. This genome was rebuilt and the result would physically resemble homo sapiens sapiens in physical appearance but would embody a significant change in the capabilities of their bodies. Eternals could harness cosmic energy and utilize it to alter their physical and mental natures giving them a distinct range of superhuman abilities.
  • The third experiment would alter homo erectus and other homonids on Earth to have the potential for superhuman capacity passed down through the genomes. This condition was pass through all the species of the homo genus and exists in homo sapien sapiens as the capacity for random mutation creating superhuman ability. These randomly occurring superhumans are called mutants and often dubbed ‘homo sapiens superior’.
• Thanos’ ancestors were Eternals and born on Earth. Thus it is not a reach to say he is at least a descended from Earth based genetic material and with his modifications as an Eternal, he could be considered at least as Human as any hominid born on Earth.
  
  He would likely be able to be recognized as having DNA similar to any hominid from Earth, though there would be enough difference he might not be able to reproduce easily with a Human. Given the genetic manipulations done by the Celestials though, any limitations on his genome may only be by our imagination and he may be as Human as you or I with genetic enhancements to evolve the Eternals past the baseline Human potentials by millions of years.

I liked the first two; the last one with the dinosaurs and new characters was crap. The cartoon movie was specifically made to sell more toys and I think history is repeating itself with the new movies.

Cool thread. Infinity war had so much stories going on for me. It was over hyped but it was good. Just like how black panther was over hyped but good. Deadpool 2 was great. Cant wait to see what they do with X Force

 

Lol deadpool has me dying but I was so bummed when Terry crews went through the bus window. I was excited to see him more but X-Force does seem promising

 

I enjoyed deadpool, I was also surprised when they killed most of the recruits but Domino did not disappoint. The surprise cameos were pretty good as well.

 

Was talking to my soon to be brother in law and he had an interesting theory. He said Dr. Strange went back in time during the one reality where they win to set up Captain Marvel as the savior. Something like he went back and visited Fury and likely gave him the device that he uses to signal Captain Marvel telling him that he would know when to use it. So maybe Dr. Strange will show up in the Captain Marvel movie.

Ant-Man is getting close. I’ll be real disappointed if we get nothing out of it. It’s not like Marvel to not tie things together...

 

And Man occurs before Infinity War, and is supposed to explain why Scott wasn't there.

 

He wasn’t there because he was on house arrest. That was explained in Infinity War, and in the trailers I’ve seen so far...

My understanding is that Ant-Man is taking place during the same time as IW.

Marvel hasn’t put a movie out yet that was irrelevant to the current story arch. Even if just a brief mention or post-credit scene like the Winter Soldier reveal in Black Panther. It all aligns...

Can you believe that was 40 years ago, I wonder how different the Avengers will look 40 years from today? How did they ever get away making Captain Americans shield transparent, I guess that was all they could afford .... sad.
