Thought so. I have the same tire. Still trying to figure out tire pressures. Those tires are heavy at 66+ lbs and they are e-rated.

So I've been saving my old 8.4 rear axle just Incase I blow a rear wheel bearing or break a axle shaft in my 8". But I think I seen someone on here say the other day that they are different. Anyone have a definite answer on that? 04 open rear swapped for a 03 locker rear. Both with abs. If not, anyone want to buy a low mileage 8.4 complete rear axle?

Time to make fun of me, I have fucked up. I have 12" billies in the rear and theres only 2" of shock travel. I should of gotten 10" and 2" shackles.

They do that for all their tacoma leaf packs. Mine came side specific without asking.

 

That is hard to look at...poor frank. The epic adventure looked pretty epic. Havent made it through all the bs yet but sure looked like an awesome trip you guys planned

Get the 1st gens out to do epic adventure number 2 could be fun lol

 

I think it gets tough to cover ground effectively with more than 6-8 rigs. At that point, no matter what things just get tough to coordinate, especially if there are technical areas. Would be fun to do a TW meet trip, but really it would be a night mare too, easier to save tiny trails and dunes for meet ups with lots/new people.

 

This is very true. There is always the drop out factor though, but it makes me wish i had upgraded my rig and found tw 6 years ago. Generally 8 rigs is plenty to deal w. Thats why PMs are sooo nice hahah but i agree just throwing it out there as I am the lone 1st gen in the group 99% of the time. Would be nice to be in a group of em hahah
