So, we should start discussing some details. The plan is to do our own thing for dinner on friday because people will be arriving at different times. Me and the group from sac are all off on friday and will be there fairly early. After dinner friday we will be having campfire and beers/BSing at my campsite. What time do we want to head out for wheeling? I was planning on potluck for saturday night. If we are going to do that we should start a list. Galen you said you had a BBQ? what size? I might be bringing mine as well.

Lets hear what you guys think.

I have a 3 burner camp chef stove with a full size griddle. I can pan fry some Pork blade steaks and green beans with bacon and onion for dinner one nite. Then the griddle is big enough to do 15 to 20 pancakes on it:D. So I can bring some stuf for pancakes for one mornin.
Saturday depends on if we want to do the full loop around Hull Mtn. Total miles is 160 and about 7 hrs and thats with a few stops say for lunch and what not. With our weather so far we still have a lot of snow up there. It snowed on us this last Saturday during our cleanup . So not sure if we can make it all the way over or not cause of the snow pack on the back side. I would say no later than 9 am for leaving camp and still get back in daylight for dinner.

You read my mind on pancakes! I will bring some bacon and sausage for breakfast. I'm going to bring my whole BBQ i think. just load it up and strap it down.

As far as the 7 hour loop, we have some prerunners that will be there. I know last time in my prerunner i couldn't make it all the way around. Just a thought. Ill be the lone soldier just going up for wheeling, so im down to tag along as long as i can until i have to cruise home for some obligations ive got that night. Its coming up! should be fun :)

if I've learnt one thing about 4x4ing in groups, that is the more people/vehicles we have the slower it goes. Just the nature of the beast.

I would be happy to just do the way up and poke around some smaller trails.

I agree with galen, we should leave camp early. 9 is fine (if i had my way it would be 5am:D, can't reset my body clock)

Also i'm still wondering if i should drag my boat up there, last time i did i had a blast.
but i don't think we'll have time for that.

Also it sounds like you guys are talking about eating together for all meals, or just the main potluck for saturday night? I'm happy to handle my own breakfasts and lunches, then get in on the potluck

I will probably be heading home with Jason on Saturday because I have work really early on Sunday morning.
