Alabama thread!

yeah....a game that has no effect on your life (other than self induced stress or happiness), and that can be rewatched at a different time, usually only causes arguments/issues between friends, and that you participating in has little to no influence on how it's going to turnout.....

I see why that should affect living your life (lifestyle as Allen mentioned) by keeping you from getting out and experiencing the world with others and celebrating some of the most important days of friends lives with them. #sarcasm

YES! Even in March I sweat my balls off in that stupid suit! I'm glad I chose suits over tuxes for myself and my groomsmen or we may have melted!

 

absolutely, December to February sound like prime wedding time lol (not this upcoming winter BTW BEFORE ANYBODY GETS ANY IDEAS)

but I just don't see choosing football over enjoying living/experiencing life events.

 

I know lots of Bamers that schedule their weddings around football. Most of them just combine it with the family reunion. You know two birds, one stone and all.

 

isn't EVERY Bama game just a family reunion? you know, since they usually marry family and such.

OR. The friends come together to enjoy something they all love. I have very fond memories (both good and bad) watching Alabama games that will last a lifetime.


I do love to get out in the woods as well. Actually one of my fondest memories of Alabama football was when I was coming out of the woods after an afternoon hunt. My memory of listening to the "Rocky Block" during the 2009 season will forever be with me.

 

yeah, but to say you refuse to do something else (which frankly is more important to life than football) because of football....is kinda questionable, don't you think? like weddings, possible babys being born, possible trips of a lifetime.

just making you think buddy. I love LSU football, and in the past chose it over other things, and also let it get between friends and I because it was OH SO IMPORTANT. Realized how stupid that was. Agree to disagree all you want....there's just so much more important than football...
