Depends on whether you get and SPDT or DPDT Switch. Then designate one side for rear, the other for front make your connections. Then a diode protected jumper from the front terminal(s) to the rear and you’re set.

This is the switch I will be using. So it is a SPDT I believe. And how does one install a diode? o_O

That looks like an SPST Switch. With the diode, it creates a one way circuit. So that we can provide signal to the rear switch when engaging the front switch. But engaging the rear switch will not provide signal to the front.

Placed my order yesterday. Can you also include instructions for Nav override? Thanks!

I'm sure this was answered elsewhere but I cant find it in any forum: what stops me from connecting this to a different video source than a camera? What about to a dvd player or make it display a picture when i push the button or connect to something like that?

You can connect a different video source, you just wouldn’t have the audio. Unless of course the audio was tapped into BT or Aux. But if that’s what you’re wanting to do, just wait a couple of weeks. I’ll be releasing a new harness with AV attachments.

@Logistics91 are you still selling these? The link on the website states that they are no longer available.

Also what size are the switches for the cubby plate? Center style vs cubby style?

Website is down for maintenance and upgrades. Both sizes will be available for the mount.

Is the cubby one like the one that is blank and the center one like the size of the QI, ECT Power ones? What are their actual sizes so I can get another one for the empty space the 3 holes will have?

Correct, the blank is the cubby size and the center size are the sizes that go under the hvac controls.

The cubby size switch is roughly 39mm x 21mm. Center size is about 32.5mm x 22mm.

Any chance this will be compatible for those who already have the kit?

If i only want an anytime front camera, can it be done with only one push switch. Or do i lose the rear cam when backing up ?

It can be set up that way. You would still have the backup camera while in reverse, unless of course you turned the front camera on.

I got a vanilla 2017 taco with the premium jbl nav package. I want to hook up a 3rd cam in the back seat for a baby monitor lookin my boys car seat plus the front cam. Is there any special wiring needed to add the 3rd cam or will a plain rca split work? Since the signal is controlled via the buttons. I believe in theory, it should work so long as only 1 button is on at a time .

Also. Is the website going to have an option on for the nav bypass? Or do we just put that in the comments when ordering?

Lastly, when will the website be up for ordering ?
