No no no. I told him to drive straight. He decided to bail out to the line he wanted to take... and how did that turn out? Hahaha

Is it ok to go with stock skid/no sliders? I know that trail is brutal at the end and I don't think i want to try that trail till i get my sliders.

Honestly I wouldn't do it without sliders. I did once back when I didn't have mine yet, but got lucky. Every time I've done the trail since then I've had to rely on my sliders at least a few times. It will definitely put a front stock IFS skid through the ringer but I wouldn't be as worried about that.

Long travel with big tires and lights
other way around. You can run some of the hardest trails without skids if your careful and spot. But you have to have rocksliders. MJT is easy with lift and tires but the last part may catch your rocker panel if no rockslider.

Anyone run it recently? The first part was all sand and silt the last time I ran it. Very dusty day

Miller Jeep trail? @oni06 and I ran it about a month ago, it's the same as it usually is IMO it doesn't change a whole lot. Lockwood Creek is the longer, tougher portion of it in my opinion, MJT is short and sweet with a few tough spots going uphill.
Most of what I hit my sliders on is on the Lockwood part of the trail, plus maybe a couple of the spots at the end of MJT. There are some tight corners with big rocks that sliders come in real handy to pivot on with. But yeah I wouldn't do either trail without sliders.

Open invite to anyone that wants to come this weekend, and if anyone is interested in camping at the bast of MJT on Saturday let me know cause it will probably affect what time we run the trail if so. So far I know @Sandtaco is coming, don't know about camping though.

Where do you go fishing? I've started trying my hand at that lately, got myself a cheap setup lol. Went out to Jackson lake up the 2 highway (near Wrightwood) a few weeks ago, didn't catch anything :(

yeah it's looking more like a day run is better for me as well, we could aim to meet at 10am at the gas station in Frazier Park and go from there.

In a couple days I'll start a PM with those interested and we can confirm the time that works best for all.

I may be able to make it.

Its looking like this weekends upgrade is gonna get pushed.
I have to meetup with someone in the morning to sell my stock rear bumper/hitch and I don't have a fixed time yet.
If my cutover does get pushed ill see how early I can meetup to sell the bumper and may be able to head up there.

I'll put you on the PM when it goes out, I'm sure we can be flexible on the time if need be.
