I have the SAME exact kit, phillips bulbs and everything. The color is comparable to OEM HID lights. While sitting in the driver seat, the light appears white but standing outside the car and looking at it the lights have a warmer look to them. If you want a pure white then 5000k would be the way to go.

The kensun HIDs on Amazon are very good bang for the buck. @twheat40 runs the 5000k in his 4runner and they work and look great.

My truck is truly stock AF but I do wish I had a locker. Honestly that could get me through most of the spots where I need 4wd now.

My inferno 3rd gen was an AT, it wasnt bad, but I like the interaction of a manual transmission.

Wow....Thanks for the information! between you and @EatSleepTacos , I may reconsider HIDs again

no Crawl Control :) that's for the Automatic guys... It still has the electronically controlled transfer case, and locking rear diff and all the off road stuff but the manual transmissions dont get the multi terrain select "easy button" haha

yea time will tell on me keeping it or not... :)

Mah subie. It comes with halogen projectors and I swapped in HID. Tacoma has the BHLM done but that's about it.

If you're feeling ballin, buy some morimoto led fogs. They're a whole replacement.

For the same cost as that, you could also go pod. These pods were reviewed by crashburn and have the second highest output right behind rigid, and have a clean cut off.

Are any of the off-road parks in VA or West VA open just anytime, or are they only open to ride during events/meetups?

I'm a truck / 4x4 guy man... the Subie was ok for what it was, but I had zero desire to mod it / do anything / go to meets / etc..

plus the owners are a whole different breed

psh.... youre a whistleblower.... I cant be hanging w/ dudes that screenshot my Facebook :p

and besides, youre the farthest thing from stock.... your truck is full on BUILT haha

do you have a link to the crashburn review? I've actually looked at those CaliRaised fogs and thought about them... the morimotos seem a bit pricy for what you get.

It's a hell of a read, but at the very top it shows the caliraised "fogs" for comparison, and they make terrible fogs. The caliraised link I shared was more for the holders and then put the SAE legal ones in there.

Well... To my eye they're not at all warm. Compare to my stock fogs...
