Ha! At that point I'd be worried about the rigidity of the cab while off road and flexed out.

 

What you should be concerned about is where you're going to put the cup holders on them.

 

Shoot, you're right. My cup holding capacity will be reduced by 4. I actually use those things for my winch controller and air down tool!

 

Not to mention your music. You'll only have those pos 4s in the suicide doors.

 

Better than nothing! Newer access cabs don't even have speakers in the rear doors!

 

Just think how much money you'll save using less Windex though.

If your stereo has a 15 mm jack, and your Baufeng has a 15 mm jack, then all you need is a splitter that allows you to connect a cheapo pair of headphones with a boom mic and PTT cord. Then you can listen to your music and talk on your talkie.

 

Just ziptie some beats pills to the tubes and you'll be good to go.

 

Hmmmm, I do have a battery powered bose speaker that recharges with USB...that'd probably be better than the two rear speakers

Bosses are swaping trucks today, they bought 2 brand new GMC Sierras. Bumping the "old" 2017 Silverado to a foreman, the Ram Ecodiesel (2015 or 2016) to a project manager and our senior estimator is getting a brand new Ram ecodiesel. I guess my turn is coming sometime lol
