They are MUCH whiter than OEM halogens, but if compared side by side to a 5000K you'd be able to tell a difference. Don't get me wrong, I prefer the 4300k as that's the best light for our eyes, but the 5000k is a little whiter which is what caleb wants.

I feel like 5000k (what I have on the 4Runner) is a little blueish

Then 4300k is the way to go! It's the perfect color IMO

This is my 4Runner (black one) (the White 4Runner is stock halogens) w/ 5000k HIDs and they are too blue for my liking.... w/ regular LED replacement fog light bulbs....

but the wife says she likes this setup at night so......

Here are the kensun 5000k HIDs that I have. This is closer to when I first got them about 6 months ago. They aren't even remotely blue, once they warm up for a minute or two.

I've seen quite a color range for headlights of the same color temp. Mine are 5k and are white with the slightest tint of the blue.

Yeah I was going to say the same, that those don't look anywhere close to 5000k. More like 6000 or 6500. I would go with 35. 55 burns out bulbs quicker for not that much brighter performance.

Yeah mine are the 35W. I like them and they are easy to install. Not super expensive like some other options.

Mine are in my subie  So no, no issues while wheeling.

That aside, I have only wheeled at night once, and I had my brights and light bar on, so flickering would be a non issue.

I have had zero flickering issues. On or off road. And I leave mine on, even though I wheel mostly during the day and can't see them.
