I did manage to sway her in the direction of an outdoor/forest wedding, so ours is going to be up in Big Basin National Park (redwood forest). Gonna be camping there that whole weekend.

All you gotta do is have it be the getaway vehicle. Pretty sure all that requires is some soap writing on it and some loose debris tied off to the bumper

I forgot how nice it is to drive a vehicle with soft flexy suspension. Past two weeks in Seattle and Spokanistan with rentals and little Hondas.

You know whenever I drive, or am a passenger in the E320 I actually feel nauseous sometimes for God know's what reason.

My theory is it's too damn cushy and soft and flexible. I'm used to the rough, bouncy, and hard ride of the Tacoma - which is strange because it should be the other way around.

It's easy for me to get car sick, especially if I'm sitting in the back seat of another vehicle. But never when I'm driving. If I'm passenger I can't read anything, not even my phone, for more than a minute at a time or I start to get nauseous. Car sickness is the worst, takes forever to go away and will ruin your day lol.

It's funny I've never been carsick in the Tacoma. Hell I grew up in the back seat and I was always on my phone doing something. Never had an issue until I would ride in the E320.

    It really does suck.

I used to go deep sea fishing a lot off the coast of San Francisco near the Farralon Islands where the continental plate drops off into the ocean. It gets really choppy and really rough out there, but I have never felt seasick or nauseous.

I would take that 50ft fishing vessel in a storm any day over the backseat of a Merc E320.

Hopefully one time we can all end up at a meeting and do a truck swap. My truck is strange feeling, soft but planted. Firm on the street and pillowy on rough surfaces. And then the SC just makes it even more wrong. Gotta learn to drive a manuél trans first tho

I'm getting there. I should probably bolt the seats down first before I do anymore learning in that thing. Lol.

I'm actually picking up a new bed for it Saturday - well, not new. It was in a rollover and the bedsides are done for. I'm going to drill out the spot welds on my bed with good bedsides, and transfer it to the rolled bed with the good deck. The deck on my current bed is all rusty and full of holes and is just nasty.

    $40 though. Can't go wrong.
