Just got these is from @FtApache awesome service and fast delivery. Installation was easy but with my ocd took longer than needed. Instructions really helped, I tried the first T without water and it immediately got stuck and I couldn’t adjust so I used a spray bottle with 2 drops of soap, too much and you won’t get the stickers to stick. Awesome quality and they will last a long time! And also added some door sill protectors I ordered from the dealership. Gotta protect our babies!

Installed some Caliraised Amber fogs yesterday. While under the truck I noticed some wet spots, and low and behold the rear diff is leaking. Took it to the dealership today for that along with some other issues that need to be fixed. AC blower motor is making noise and the service tech that did the last free oil change put the oil filter housing on so tight I couldn't budge it when I wen to change the oil. If I have both feet braced against the bumper and a 2 foot cheater bar on the wrench and the cover won't come off, it's on to tight. What sucks is I drained the oil first, so I had to fill it with the mobile 1 i had on hand. But I got a "free" oil change today. Jeez.

I had the same problem! I asked the techs to put on the aluminum filter housing, and they did not. Put mine on over the weekend, and had a 3 foot cheater bar (you shoulda gotten a 3' bar, lol), to remove the plastic one and install the metal housing. Good job on the "free" oil change...:anonymous:

Jeez! I hope you complained to the service mgr. so they can educate the person doing the oil changes. Nobody takes the time to train their employees properly any more. I see it all the time at work. Sure ain't like it used to be.

Not today, but made some big changes over the weekend.

Saturday I had my sliders swapped out. The original ones were accidentally made for a shortbed, so FullForceMetalworks drove up to my place and swapped the correct length sliders on.

    35166526_410382989457131_5150517333889908736_n.jpg

Then on Sunday I installed a full OME BP-51 kit and SPC upper control arms. This took me roughly 16 hours  I did the install mostly by myself, with a little help reaching tools and guiding leaf packs from my 14 y/o daughter. She did great.

Before on bottom, after on top.

I only have them on when I'm headed out camping. The before photo is from a couple months ago when I first picked up the rack and tent.

    Agreed

So far, I love it. I took a test drive around my neighborhood on Sunday night, just to check for obvious issues. All was fine, but I defintely noticed a massive change in the way it drove. Felt more like a tank, I suppose. I had a similar feeling when I first got the truck, having come from driving a lowered Audi A3 :D

I drove around quite a bit yesterday (50 or so miles), and would say its actually a smoother ride than stock. Not quite like floating on clouds, as some have described it, but nice. Most of the holes and bumps I rode over were much less noticeable, and it definitely climbs over obstacles better. The rebound on the front shocks is quite noticeable if you run over speed bumps much past 5-10 mph. No need to adjust the settings or anything, but I went over 2 speed bumps around 20 mph out of pure curiosity to see how the suspension felt. It did great in heavy gravel and a super short offroad test.
