That's correct, its a little hammock I picked up from West marine, about $10. They typically have them in stock, works great as a little random catch all. I keep our fruit in our camp box though, I think it would get beat up swinging around back there!

Remember the corner panels on the inside of the camper. You’ll have to be strategic about which bolts/holes to fasten on the L track so that the nut doesn’t interfere with the inside panels

Good point, I am thinking I may have to trim them down just a hair since I fully intend to have those aweso ecorner panels full of wiring and switches lol

I went with the insulation option as well, must have in our area. I dont want to squish the insulation when sandwiching the L track too much so I had considered upsizing the holes on the inside to be able to drop a spacer inside; minimal squish and solid.

All just brainstorming at this point lol

Haha I get it. I had a long list of mods with links I emailed Phil and Iggy before ordering to see if it made sense with the options I picked out. Pretty sure I gave them an ulcer when they read it (if they even read it all LOL)

Isn't stainless steel non magnetic? Well the stainless I use all the time is not magnetic. Probably be better of just getting a tin gauge of metal sheet and tucking it in behind the carpet, be cheaper as well.

Sadly my fridge is non magnetic. Stainless steel BBQ? too fancy for me, I have a 90 dollar walmart BBQ, and to be honest it beats the crap out of my buddies 1500 dollar bbq he has in his backyard.

stainless with a high iron content is magnetic. However, the higher the iron content the less "stain"less it is.

Good point. My old fridge wasnt magnetic and automatically assumed my new one wasn’t either. Was pleasantly surprised that we were able to put magnets on there (both fridges were stainless)

wait, the edgestar wasn't magnetic? @Baoser has his bottle opener stuck to the lid.

Though I guess it doesn't matter for me since I have velcro all over mine. :p

Holy crap batman!!! That is a heck of a lot of magnets.

Now to get this thread back on track after I derailed it. How large is the sleep area in the Drifter? Looking at options for mattresses, if I do not like this one and whether or not I can just stick a exped one on if I do not.

I would say it's equivalent to your Alu Cab you had before (you had one right?)

I think dimensions are on the website

nope only had the JB explorer, I pulled the chute on the ALUCAB RTT as it just wasn't going to work and they couldn't get one in before i was going my DV trip back in April. Just sold the canopy, well in three weeks time I will deliver it to him when picking up the pup.
