Make sure it has the right die. I used a massive kit with fittings the part store kits don’t usually include.

When you’re driving it in, keep note of where the original seal sits. The seal doesn’t stop itself when you’re pressing it in so be wary. I pushed it 2-3 cm too far and I had gear oil leaking from it when I filled the diff up to the plug.

Thanks brother - Tim had a factory manual on this video showing to drive it in to the lip that creates its diameter:

Can my Icon 2" VS Rear shocks handle a 3.5" lift? or should i be looking to replace those as well?

    1) Don't worry, the car is built on the same platform as the Golf R and GTI so there's tons of performance shit that can be done, plus multiple tunes since turbo.
    2) First impressions is 47mpg on the drive home and enough torque (more than the 3.4) to chirp the tires from a stand still lol
    3) <3
    4) The thing has HVAC vents for the back seat. He was just soaking in the AC.

Tmrw dropping the driveshafts & replacing the UJs & Center Bearing - who knows what I’ll do to the gas tank... and hell, the new exhaust was such a pain in the ass to put on from under - maybe I’ll take that off to grind/paint too. :D

Who's killing cougars and why? Threatening local livestock?

Cougars are awesome, shame to see them get hunted for no reason unless they're picking off someone's livestock.

I'm sure you guys have a lot more of them than we do, we have few and even seen one or two of them wander into our neighborhood from the foothills. They're pretty rare out here.

Are ya sure? People think they’re rare here too haha.

You guys can’t even really hunt them in Cali either.

I dunno there's probably more than I realized lol. I've never seen one in person though I have seen bears. But yeah I believe they're off limits to hunt here, we have very limited hunting unless you go way outside the city and even then I'm not sure they're fair game.

I could never live in Cali...

I think they give out depredation tag in Cali, for the nuisance critters. I promise you there’s more than what the news tells you haha.

I’ve only ever seen 2 in my life without dogs. The guy that I hunt with hasn’t ever seen one, he’s 35 and has spent more time on the mountain in 25 years than most people spend in 60. They aren’t dumb animals, they depend on being sneaky haha.
