I heard hit and miss stories about Porkopolis, but its been solid the couple times Brady brought us food. Pork on a fork has another location at 20th and Camelback, its alright.

there are better spots for sure. Famous 48 in Old town has some of the best short ribs I have ever tried and Bootleggers around the corner is known for like BBQ fusion dishes with a traditional taste. Its expensive tho haha

Joe's Real BBQ is my favorite. I gorged myself then walk to Bergies for the best coffee in AZ.

My wife and I have been there twice and won't be giving it any other chances. It's expensive cafeteria food. Thumbs down especially for nearly $30 for two people.

    https://www.bergiescoffee.com/

They do their own roasting and usually have a good selection of S. Americans/ African beans in stock. They have even roasted some sumatra to what I wanted, cost a little extra but I was happy with it.
I roast my own coffee, just not in the summer since it is way to hot to play with a toaster oven outside. So I go to Bergies is near by or get some Black rifle coffee. Guess you could call me a coffee and beer snob!

Can't say that I have a well developed appreciation for different beers but after spending 5 years in the Pacific Northwest, I do appreciate good coffee (not referring to Starbucks either which while it's passable I don't consider it great coffee but at least it's consistent between locations).

If you are ever near downtown Gilbert you should check them out. They are pretty busy in the mornings even on the weekends but it is worth it in my opinion. I need to get back out there as the Black rifle I have now is just not doing it for me.
