Leaks are my biggest concern, also that overhang looks so dumb. The lip around the bed is something I have to get used to. I'm ordering one tomorrow morning, and the dealer is about 6 hours away. I'm hoping everything is made well and fits and is installed right the first time. I don't think I can make the drive back for any warranty work.

This is the quote direct from dealer:

    Snug Top Rebel- $2161.00
    Sportsmans Package- $96.00
    Fold Down Slidin Wdo.- $107.00
    Yakima Rack (Tracks Only)- $147.00
    Petscreen- $30.00 Per Window
    Windoor W/Vent- $177.00
    Light Bar- $76.00
    Pro Lock- $61.00
    Web Coupon- -$50.00

    Labor to Install- $78.00
    Parts for Install- $24.00

    Tax (Aprox)- $286.00

    Total(Aprox)- $3145.00

I plan on putting a Prinsu Cab Rack on as well. I wish I could find a deal for a used one floating around but I am getting impatient. I know people are getting quoted way less but the dealer knows he's the only one around and won't budge on price.

Got mine in Ventura, he added a rubber seal along the bed, between the cap and the real window claiming that was the spot that needed additional sealing to reduce rattle and prevent leaks. I am happy with their quality.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
So, do you have a flip down front window and an additional rubber gasket?

Having had caps both with and without a front window I do prefer the no window and rubber gasket. What is the point in another expense plus weight and have to clean the damn thing? It’s stupid. Take the front window and put it in the trash. There, I said it. Whew!

17' TRD rims/BFG Ko2, OEM Roof Rack, TRD Pro Grill, Locker down console , Snugtop Rebel, lots MESO mods

Prices for the Snug Top Rebel are all over the place, I just got one for $1860 for topper + folding down front with slider, auto lock with key fob, pet screens, LED light and install $2350.
Glad I called around and got quotes for dealers in 300 mile radius around me. Ended up driving about 2 hours away to get mine. Dealer closest to me they wanted $2100.00 just for the top no options. Got prices for same topper about $150 to $300 difference and options 10 to 20 difference each place.

I had to return to get the front corners of the bulk head addressed a second time as they leaked bad. Now I only get a little bit of water when I power wash, none from rain now.

I just ordered a Snugtop Rebel with Windoors last Thursday. I originally wanted the GB Sport purely based off looks but the dealer told me I couln't get the GB Sport with windoors, so I bought the rebel. I'm now wondering if I should just say screw the windoors and get the GB Sport. I called the dealer and they said to call back tomorrow so they can call Snugtop and see if it is too late for me to change my order. Before I call them tomorrow I wanted to ask y'all what you think. Style over functionality or functionality over style?

Since you ordered the Windoors, it tells me you want that functionality. So, my opinion is order the Rebel with the Windoors.

I was looking at both the GB Sport and the Rebel. My 18 year old son thought the GB was too “over designed” for the Tacoma, so I took his millennial judgement and went with the Rebel.

    Good luck resolving your decision!

You need the Windoors (or the next owner will) Don’t get a front window either. Use a gasket. I dare ya. Ask yourself this....”What in the f do you need another window to clean? “ and more weight

I appreciate the advice! I do like the style of the GB Sport. Another deterrent is the $1000 added price on the GB Sport. I'm gonna pour myself a glass of scotch and ponder this one further...

Take the trucks rear window out and have a pass through. Edit: and hang a drape or something. If you can get a power back window....... you’re all set

    Definitely not just you.

I got the Rebel with all the bells and whistles: sliding windoors, fold-down from slider, automatic rear lock tied in, yakima racks, and the dealer installed an interior light and small USB outlet. There is no going back. Love the convenience of opening up the sides. haven't had any leaks and the fit is great. Worth the extra $$$ to get everything.

    My 2 cents.

    I got:
    Rebel with Sportsman
    Yakima Tracks
    rear drop slider window
    pop lock
pet screen on one slider window
    one vented windoor
    interior led

Order was placed maybe 2 weeks ago?
I'm wondering if it is too late to add a USB outlet and another windoor slider

Only one way to find out. I think the dealer told me the USB ports are standard on a SnugTop Rebel. Or maybe it came with the Sportsman package? But you got that too. I would confirm that with them, though.

Also, I plan on sticking with the Rebel. I looked at a ton of pictures on the GB Sport and the Rebel and I like the Rebel a lot more now. Those windoors, though... I foresee those coming in handy in countless scenarios.

Mine had some serious lead time, so it's certainly worth asking
