Oh yeah, it is definitely on my to-do list.

Early on I decided it was most important to have something that works with the factory collars, and later on decided it would be nice to have a full setup for those who wish to go further with their modifications.

There will be a brief interruption next week, because I need to make this shown riser plate for my home rotary table. Damn mill table is metric, so the available rotary accessory won't work. Yet another thing I have to make.

Had to make custom slot keys for the vise as well.

I received my shift knob from Rick yesterday, we were literally texting back and fourth as I had a couple questions for the install, so needless to say, his customer service is second to none! It looks fantastic, but feels even better while going through the gears! I absolutely would recommend Rick and his product if you are in the market for a custom shift knob. Thanks again..

It was a pleasure, and I'm glad that we were correct in finding the configuration that worked best for you.

Here are 2 pics you sent me.

Thanks for putting them on here for me! Drove to work this morning and it was a pleasure from the TRD PRO Knob.

    Looks awesome!

    Rick does great work.

Almost wish I went with the stainless.

Maybe a stainless ball like tonered’s with a custom boot cap is in my future?

Love my aluminum / delrin ring but like to switch it up sometimes.

How is this configuration holding up in the heat? On a hot day, how much of a temperature difference is there between the two materials?

Holding up fine so far. The delrin stays nice and cool so when the aluminum gets hot it sorta equals out, if you know what I mean?

Good, that was certainly the intention. Aluminum heats pretty rapidly relative to the other materials I use, so I wasn't sure if it would just act as a heat sink to the relatively thin delrin. On paper, the delrin looked to be able to handle the temperatures, but you never know with a large mass affecting it.

I love it when a plan comes together. *toothy cigar-biting grin*

I am fairly certain it's just a 3/4" grommet inside of the stock plastic collar.

Why don't you use the sunglasses holder in the upper console? You seem rather anarchistic !

Is this Hybrid Delrin/SS core listed on first post still available? If so, is it the MT version without engraving? Basically, a plain version of this. If so, I would very much like to purchase it.

Shoot me with a PM with your zip/postal code, and I will provide you with a ship quote.

It is not my favorite spot for some reason. Weirdly, the sunglasses don't move an inch while on the Qi pad even when screwing around. Anarchistic is not a bad description. :D

That was my goal. I'm generally no frills.

Copper would be a total nightmare of corrosion, unless you always wore gloves that were soaked in tomato sauce or something. It would also add a few machining operations due to its nature of swelling around where it is cut. I wouldn't say no if it were a total custom job, but definitely not going to see offered in this thread.

I would do C360 brass if there was enough interest.
