How old are the bulbs? If I'm remembering correctly, I read somewhere that HID bulbs increase in temp (become bluer) as they age.

500k is considered "pure white". I did read though that the Phillips 4300K get closer to to 5000k over time. No idea if that is true or not.

 

I read that too but I haven’t noticed a difference. It’s likely because it’s so gradual that I haven’t actually noticed it.
