To the beach I go tonight!

Sounds like a pristine opportunity to me.

 

I will go to the beach tonight, I have an image in mind that I've photographed before. I'm refining it.

 

I'm gonna have to stay up past my bedtime, the sun doesn't go down until 9:00 PM up here this time of year.

 

Hopefully i can get a shot, its supposed to be nasty rainy here for like 10 days.

 

Everybody is complaining about inclement weather, but the sun still sets regardless. Get out there and shoot!

It's still a sunset even if you can't see the sun.

 

So I’m in search of a new Canon EF lens. I find myself constantly switching between my 50mm to my 70-300mm...

I’m searching for something to cover the 15-100 range so I can stop switching so much. Any good “budget” lenses ya’ll use!

 

I only use my 50 because I’m too lazy to switch.

 

I shoot with a canon 18-135mm lens. Fits almost everything I want to do with it and it's not too big.

 

If you can save up a little, try to find a nice used 24-105 f4L IS. Excellent all around lens, not the best in low light but manageable.

 

Point the camera west; in the evening. The sun sets there too!

 

Nasty here all day. Thunder for last few hours!

 

Just take a sunrise and call it a sunset, know one will know

 

I'm looking into this {Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS II USM } runs used between $400 and $800 used. I upgraded my camera a few months ago, none of my old lenses fit except my 50, 100 and a 70-200, very limited So the 24-105 seems like a nice walk around, can't afford the 24-70
