If they bring Heaps, they better look like the ones we saw at Townsend Cave. And that's all there is too it.

My CJ7 had 38s, small block Chevy (400 cu in) Dana 60s, f&r lockers, full cage, and a candy apple red paint job that looked like it was on fire. There wasnt much around in 1979 that was street legal that was any match for it. Would like to build a CJ5 version.

97 TJ, plenty of issues. Bought it for $850. So far I have an 87 f350 D60 for the front axle, 04 gmc 2500hd donor truck for 6.0L, 4L80, 14b rear axle. Ordered wheels (on backorder), 1-1/4 heim joints for the links, rear corner armour that will stretch the tub to an LJ length and cut out for moving the rear axle back further, a double ended ram for steering assist, front truss, and a front diff cover. Just need another 8-10g for the rest of the parts or some killer deals.

    LOTS of chrome!

Polished aluinum wheels. 4 CHROME KC Daylighters. Chrome hood hinges and latches, Chrome dash, lots of chrome on engine, alumium diff covers, black leather interior, and the wildest Alpine sound system on earth!

Also always had a hot woman in passenger seat.

At the time, none of us were happy about what we encountered that night. But looking back on that time lapse is downright hilarious!

We clearly need more chainsaws! I'm standing there with that damn bow saw like it was gonna do something...

When I was packing up at the house on Wednesday 2 thoughts crossed my mind.

    1. Maybe I should bring my small tree climbing saw instead.
    2. Maybe I should bring both saws, just in case.

One of those would have been a grave mistake....the other would have been one of the best decisions of the trip.

I'm impressed with @14Tacos4me and the 18v Ryobi he had. Cut more than @Jibbs and his 40v model :boink:
