Well I still got 4K off MSRP plus the warranty. Idk. I’m sure the dealership isn’t losing money off it but I don’t see where I paid more either.

Thoughts on a TRD OR 4x4 MT special order with tech and premium packages and a few options for 36700 + TTL. MSRP 40,800

You’re in the ballpark and since it is a special order... if it is before incentives, even better.

I'm a few hundred bucks above that price for an AT with tech + premium right now. Not seeing much enthusiasm from dealers when it comes to going lower.

As for the incentive, everyone I've spoken to says there's no guarantee that it'll be in effect in 8-10 weeks when my special order arrives-- the current end date is 7/9. Will Toyota extend it? Hope so, given that 2019s are coming soon. Fingers crossed.

How soon are the 2019's coming? I'm hoping Toyota will deal more when the 2019 Ford Rangers arrive, maybe I'm just being hopeful :fingerscrossed:

Last year, they physically showed up in the beginning of December. You may have a long wait.

So after a 3 month wait, my Quicksand DCSB Off Road with a manual is arriving in 2 weeks. I negotiated a price or 32,400 (including everything except taxes) at the time, but now Toyota is offering this $1,500 rebate in my state.
Do you guys think I have grounds to stand on and can convince them to apply that rebate to my truck? IE walk away at 30,900?

It 'should' work. The rebate doesn't come from the dealership. However, your original deal may have been predicated on some sort of factory rebate already. I would open the door to discussion, but hold firm on the original negotiated price. The invoice on the 2018 OR DCSB MT is 31,946 plus whatever other options you chose. So, you already had a pretty sweet deal.

The dealer I'm working with says I'll get the agreed price minus whatever rebates are available upon delivery of my truck, in 8-10 weeks.

Right now the local deal is $1000 off. Might be $1000 when my truck shows up, might be $0. Roll the dice!

2018 TRD Sport DCSB 4x4 MT. Very low inventory for a Sport or OR with MT. What do you guys think?

    MSRP $35,700
    Sale Price $33,200
    CA TTL $3,600
    Rebate $1,000
    Total $35,800

    7543 - TRD SPORT DOUBLE CAB 4X4 V6 M/T.................... Invoice 31,947 / MSRP 34,485

There are two issues I see for you... #1 You say low available inventory... #2 California, where they say the dealers don't deal.
Not a bad deal, but there is still money on the table if you can get it.

Yep, gotta ignore fixed cost items (TT&L, rebate) and compare the offer to invoice.

Here's that Google spreadsheet of what others have paid again:

Yeah a form interface could cut down on vague data. It's easy to forget that a "great deal" may have included a trade, special rebates, etc.

Well done! I wasn't aware they made 4x2 ORs. Welcome! I'm new too.

    Hi GB,
I'm actually going to a neighboring state to get her. There were 3-4 TRD DCOR M/T in Northern California but those dealers wouldn't budge.

    Hi No1,
The base is $34,485, plus Delivery Processing and Handling $995 and Floor/Sill liners $228. If I remove the latter 2 from the offering price of $33,200 I get $31,977 which is $30 above invoice.

Am I doing the math right?

That's a good price. Especially for CA, I'd take it.
