ReRetrofit...

2nd gen. I have looked at different threads and couldnt find what i was looking for, and checked youtube and didnt see anything there either. Is it possible to do a Reretrofit? I have a set of headlights i like, that are already black out the way i want but id like to take the projectors out, and put in different projectors and add demon eyes. Is this possible? I have heard that when you tighten down the ring in the back it melds the ring to the shaft where it stays in place and doesnt come apart. SO would it be possible to take the ring off. or would i have to cut, or just scrap the whole project and start from scratch. I still have a set of Stock headlights that i could do the retrofit with if i went that route.

lol mine are already together, i want to take the projector that is already in them out which is a mini H1, and replace it with a D2S projector. The issue is that i have tightened down the ring to the shaft that holds the projector inside them. so i dont know if i can remove the ring from the shaft or if i have to cut it off or if i should just start from scratch.

 

Did you ever get this figured out?

 

I ended up saying screw it. And used my stock headlights and built new retrofits
