In restrooms that have urinals, at least one urinal must be designed for use from a wheelchair (also needing the most space for turning radius) These urinals have elongated bowls with rims no more than 17 inches from the floor. In addition, restrooms must have enough room to allow a wheelchair to make a 180-degree turn. This may be accomplished by leaving a clear floor space of 60 inches in diameter.

I just went through this shit with inspectors on a building floor renovation and lost 600 Sq Ft of leasable space @ $57 sq ft @ 34K per month @ 410K per yr

What's proper restroom etiquette when the restroom is a designated emergency weather shelter? I would hate to be pooping while the restroom fills up with people that are afraid of some sever weather. I don't want to find out so I'm thinking about writing my Congressman to create some legislation to make designating restrooms as emergency shelters illegal.

Could be worse. I just took a "significant" bathroom break that is going to need some serious cleanup for the janitorial staff. However, since I'm teleworking today, that staff is me.

There is a significant downside to pooping on company time when you're spending your own money on doo-doo paper...

I’m currently working out of a construction trailer. We have a full time cleaning lady and she cleans both toilets about 3 times. It is amazing how clean they stay.

Also, a 10 minute poop a day equals one weeks paid poop time a year.

I worked for a small bank back in 2006. I was the accountant and the CFO's office was next to mine. I was mid 20's and usually went out on Thursday nights. That Thursday night I decided to have Thai fried rice at a level 10 spice. I remember the lady asking me 10 times if I was sure. Well, the next morning I tore the bathroom up. Beer and level 10 spiced fried rice is a bad combo. I remember hearing the CFO calling our maintenance man on the phone. I still remember the words to this day "hey can you come by and spray the restroom, it smells like something died in there". The hardest laugh I've ever had in my life.

I know this post is ancient but someone I shared a bathroom with in the college dorm did that. Seems puzzling to me, but maybe i've been doing it wrong for all these years...

Mostly stock with a few minor mods.
I took such a nasty deuce at work one time that the next guy in sprayed so much air freshener the fire alarm went off. Cleared the entire building. Boss removed all spray cans from the bathrooms after that.

I gotta say, pooping at work just isn't the same now that I'm mandated to work from home due to the pandemic. Especially since I am the one who cleans the bathroom in my house.

That said I'd rather do that anytime. They're pretty clean creatures
