$65 from Advance Auto - 20%.... hopefully it’s a whole lot easier than these effing UJoints with “inside clips”. At this point I will do the 2 “outside clip” UJoints right behind the center bearing. I posted the 2 part numbers above from Moog.

Got it from a 3rd party Amazon seller. $95 shipped for OEM part, cheapest I could find including shipping.

They make after market ones for half the price though.

Wasn't going in, draining out. I could have just pulled the res out of the truck & then dumped it but I didn't feel like getting squirted in the face when I disconnected the pump line. I suppose I could have just capped it though. It had about a gallon in there from trying to fill it last week. Plus I had the inline siphon pump already so might as well.

Thanks. I didn't adjust them at all, replaced the original coilovers and they bumped me up 3.5" on a floor to fender measurement. Not sure how many threads are showing but looks like a good 1.75" of thread. Want to see if they settle down any and also find out how much I can take them down.

@BartMaster1234 what was the diameter of that ball joint cup you used for the axle seal?

Yeah, after spending over a grand on my Coopers, I have free lifetime rotating and balancing. I definitely use it. I think replacing all ball joints and inner and outer tie rods can only help the tires last, So I think??

BFD48BE3-F8AE-4F66-9DB4-D453FC949F9A.jpg what ever it takes.... to get those caps off on the inside clips. once they are sticking 1/2” out hammer the effers on the sides or grap ‘em with a vice and twist.

I might just be putting in new “outside” clips on the 2 UJs in the Cardan Joint & hoping for the best... those effers aren’t coming out no matter how much one pressing them 1 way or another. I think there is some super secret order one must disassemble it... Toyota has all sorts of “secret code” numbers stamped in it.

hoping for a simple Center Bearing changeout.

Oh... just actually looked at the center bearing.... guess it needs replacement for certain! :D

You got me worried so I looked at mine today. Not nearly as bad but yeah I guess I should do it soon. I've had the new timing belt & water pump sitting in the garage for a couple of years too. Haha

I know the feeling... I could easily afford to get the rear bumper, sliders and skids I want but then I'm sitting here like "If you do that and something breaks on the truck, you are are fucked."
I also probably need to get tires soonish... The fronts make so much noise

call me dumb on this one.... but we’ve got an oversized coathanger that comes out of the porportioning valve, 3” of threaded rod for adjustment and a rubber swivel. I tend to find it hard to believe that the “oversized coathanger” would not get bent out of factory OEM shape if one looked at it funny - let alone bungied it up to the cross-support during rear diff work or was otherwise effing around in the area.

From reading another tread on this, seems as though one is best to determine what is “up” and what is “down” (front or back brakes), loosen the threaded adjustor rod, and adjust accordingly. My threaded rod is pointing a good 20 degrees away from the PV (towards the passenger side).... and I haven’t the sl

On the center support bearing... how has everyone been greasing it up on install? Front & back sides? How about the splines on the flange?

Don’t grease the bearing, it’ll eat the rubber.

    That’s all I got.....

I need to do this too! How much of a hassle was it to install? Also, how much did the new bottle cost?

    Thanks!
