Finishing up my 2nd AR build, law tatical folding stock is on the way for the little 9mm.
I was curious what a normal scope looked like so I threw it on, definitely not the correct optic :anonymous:.

If anyone wants to shoot sometime in July, let's plan something.

About how much $ was that 9mil build? Looking into something similar for my first AR build.

This. And mcvays did a great job on my 85. Their Yelp reviews suck but my experience was really good.

I believe I am right around 1400, but that said building one can be done much cheaper.
Expensive pieces being the Quarter Circle 10 lower, CMC trigger and folding stock adapter that is on the way.

    $300, $300, $300. That's how my AR build went.

Exactly. And I still need optics...
The one thing that surprised me is how dirty the ar9 gets with even just two 30 round sticks.

+1 for Ayres here, IIRC jberry recommended them to me

Super good dudes when I went in there and the 2 techs I dealt with actually knew what they were talking about which was very refreshing.

That’s where I was leaning, and a couple coworkers recommended McVays but said they are pricey.

That was my experience with them for an alignment as well.

Ayres it is! Thanks dudes!

Good land and home for the price, pretty desolate though as far as stores. Morning commute if you leave after 7am is slow going. Windy.

I work out there a lot, commute blows, it took me almost to hours to get to Sparks one morning when there was a little snow.

There’s not a lot of grocery stores. I know there was talk of adding one at Stone Gate when they develop it but that’s a ways away.

Housing is definitely cheaper though, and they offer some solid discounts/assistance for moving out there. I think my friend said he got some rural development grant or something of that nature, but he works in Stead so it’s super worth it for him.

I used to live out there. Cheap living and good bang for the buck. School isn’t the best and we were tired of coming into town for school/sports so we moved in.

It's closer to Frenchman and Davis Lake so that's why I like it out here.
