Maybe, I'd have to see it in person...they had ever cheaper stuff but I had to make sure it could hold weight of our storage stuff and me waking around on it.

Here in SoCal that would go for hundreds cause all the hipsters would think it was so cool lol

yeah finished redwood looks amazing but is pricey. Even the rocks i want arent cheap.

just what ryan said that shit is more expensive than finished redwood or finished cedar. I looked at some cause i want to use it to cover a beam in my living room. That shit is gonna have to wait.

Pressure treated can add up. Not sure if he got that or not. I go to a lumber yard for my projects, way cheaper than HD. But im always surprised at how much everything adds up to everytime.

A family member just did a wall in this.

I think it’s old barn wood anyway. I’ll have to go find the post.

Shipping that to me couldnt be cheap. I may try n find something up by my parents cabin. The farther i get from big cities the better the prices are.

    I appreciate the thought though

You just layed it over the rafters right? Fence boards are usually like 3/4” which is plenty strong especially if the rafters are spaced like 16” apart like it’s suppose to be

I wouldnt need much. Probably about the same amount that was on that wall. Its just incredibly popular down here. Same w mid century modern furniture. You pay 5 times what its worth or you go look for it.

Future Employer: How’d you pay for school?
Me: I sold my wood on the internet

Sound like a good thing to put in a job resume.

Guy in the interwebz made did a wall or 2 for his mount. I think a vaulted ceiling with a wall or two done in barn wood in the living room would be pretty af.

I think the wood my family used was burned or something.

Looks like it was burnt a bit. Its actually a natural pest repellant to do that. The japanese do that to protect the siding on their homes and temples. Looks super fn cool.

Ill sell some lumber for ya haha. I am sure i could get rid of it quick...I may commadere some for my 30ft beam haha
