Anyone have experience with Garage cabinets? Anyone you recommend or DIY solutions? I built racks in my last house, but I'm leaning more toward cabinets this time around. I noticed most of the guys on CL have all the same product and say 'direct from factory' is there somewhere in the valley that you can buy the cabinets/kits wholesale?

I have been trying to pick up that hobby. I would really like to get one of those Ruger Precision Rifles. They seem like a great value. Like you, I need to become a decent rifle shooter before I can step out on the 1000 yard range, but I would like to make my way to that level.

It's very fun and there's a lot to it to do right.
I'm still working on being consistant at 1K.

A little spring swap for wheel gun Wednesday.
Not kings though! New trigger return and main spring shown installed compared to the OEM.

I think an experienced spotter also helps. I wasted a lot of prime shooting time this year with my KAC being down for the count with the RMA. I haven't even taken it back out to test fire. I should at least run it through its paces indoors.

How many AZBSers are running roost guards on their fancy high dollar shocks? Is it something you end up needing out here or just another thing to trap dust?

    Workin' on it....
Negative. I'd say most rigs I've seen running around aren't either.

It would be for function testing, and not setting wildfires. ;)

Well I don't see a lot of AZBS'ers builds running them so I guess we collectively don't have a need? :spy:

It just seems so naked with an inverted strut and the shock shaft being right there, and also wouldn't you run into clearance issues with a clamp on resi and a roost guard?

Agree with @DevilDocAZ it is easier than you think to make hits at 1K. A 308 will make it! I shoot palma out to 1K with 308 and 155's going 2980 with iron sights. The target we use is pretty big but once you get your vertical you just have to master the wind which I struggle with all the time.
Hell, my little 6br gets the 107's there no problem. The high speed 6's and 7's make wind mistakes less obvious but they also chew up your barrel
    a lot quicker.
@DevilDocAZ where is this mile location. Would love to stretch the 300 win mag out some.

Good to hear that there's something good in that place. It's changed hands at least 4x in the last 10 years.

    This

I had never shot at anything past 100yds before, pretty just went out and plinked a lot.

@DevilDocAZ got me to shoot 500 yds and now all i want to do is shoot long range. Got a lot lf practice in with my 308 at 500 then put my first round on steel at 1700yds with a borrowed rifle. Shooting that far is just awesome.
