How do you find getting in and out with your drawer system?

 

Not bad at all. It actually gives a nice little step up into the tent to the point where I'll forgo a step stool or anything in the bed. The fridge will be mounted on top of the drawers on the passenger side, so if the fiance needs a step she can always use that, anyways.

It's pretty awesome how much people are interested in the GFC, too. Our Realtor is pretty much sold on getting one and was drooling over it during our final walkthrough today, my buddy in Montana now wants one, and I've had strangers come up to us at gas stations on our drive back to California yesterday asking us what it was and where they can get one.

 

Yup. I’ve shown like the shell and explained it to like 3 random people since I’ve had it and numerous friends, coworkers, and gym mates

The part of this story that isn’t being mentioned is that ZR2 wasn’t really an order. It just broke down in front of the GFC shop so they figured they’d test fit it while waiting for the tow truck to show up.

 

Whichever helps get my GFC installed on my truck .

Here’s yours. Ready to be delivered right after northwest overland. We also wanted to verify that the 1st gen mounts fit correctly before getting out there. Good News is the brackets worked perfectly.

I guess it could be orange...laurel or yanny I guess

 

It was a question more than a statement. @wileydavis what’s the story with the all Red or Orange GFC?

 

I believe that was a custom order red color. Looks like the panels might be red too.

 

@wileydavis What are the white pieces of paper that are taped to the back panels? Looks like the white one might be mine

It's mostly red... sort of a Porsche red with a bit of orange in it. And it's going on my sliver truck. Figured we needed something a bit flashier for the coming long travel We also did a custom one with a red space frame for a customer. But this one is all red just to be obnoxious.
